The Emirates ID Authority announced temporary closure of its customer service center in Al Dhaid City, Sharjah. During this temporary closure as of Monday 2 January 2017, the center will be redesigned beside development of the additional services and facilities to be offered to visitors.
According to the Emirates ID Authority, the redesign aims to increase the capacity and add more improvements and facilities for customers to achieve a positive impact on their levels of satisfaction. The center development project will increase the service counters to 9: 5 for men and 4 for women. Thus, the center can serve more than 500 customers per day.
The three-month project will increase the auditing counters to 12 in order to increase the completion rates of transactions and save the time spent in the issuance of ID card, providing a decentralized printing device in order to enable Al Dhaid Center to provide urgent ID card issuance within 48 hours as maximum from submission of the application whether in case of first-time registration, renewal of the expired cards or replacement of lost or damaged cards.
The Emirates ID Authority has taken all measures to ensure the continuity of its services to its customers at Al Dhaid according to the best levels by providing a customer service center office along with supporting systems and facilities at Al Dhaid preventive medicine center. It also provides an additional service counter at Al Madam Center that will be improved to offer services to men and women. Hatta Center will have more staff members in order to ensure no delay in the transactions of customers and visitors.
The Emirates ID Authority called on visitors to visit its PMC-based customer service center or Al Madam and Hatta centers. All the services of Al Dhaid Center (registration, renewal and replacement) has been made available at the three centers from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, according to the Emirates ID Authority. Al Madam center is based in Al Madam Municipality while Hatta is located at the immigration and passports department building in the city near Al Qala`a Roundabout.
The Emirates ID Authority stressed that the closure of Al Dhaid Center is a part of development of all the Authority's centers in form and content to meet the standards of the Emirates Government Services Excellence Program and reach 7-star level to provide the best customer services in order to satisfy customers and bring smiles to their faces.
